Turn a scripted steel-cage wrestling match into a real fight in this 250,000-word interactive novel!

Youve always dreamed of becoming pro wrestlings biggest star...but a wrestlers world is fraught with hardship and betrayal, in and out of the ring. Become a powerhouse, a technician, a high-flier, or focus on your promo skills. Theres more than one road to success.

But none of those roads will be easy. This is a world where your biggest fans are your harshest critics; where the front office is more dangerous than the squared circle; where friends can become enemies with a single heel turn; where, sometimes, the only way to win is to lose, spectacularly.

This is professional wrestling. And youre about to change it, forever.

Slammed! is an epic interactive professional-wrestling novel by Paolo Chikiamco, where your choices determine how the story proceeds. The game is entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—but driven by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Theres never been a professional wrestling game like this, a game where the outcome of your final match, your choice of opponent, and your relationships affect the ending. Whens the last time you played a pro-wrestling RPG with a "kayfabe" stat?--or where your trash-talking "promo" ability is as important as your core strength and wrestling technique?

* Enjoy a 250,000-word personal tale of friendship, competition, and revenge.
* Develop not only your physical abilities, but a favored wrestling style.
* Become a heroic face, or a villainous heel—or even turn heel.
* Turn a scripted match into a real fight—and vice versa.
* Decide when to keep kayfabe, and when to break it.
* Play as male or female, gay or straight.

Pros and cons of SLAMMED! app for iPhone and iPad

SLAMMED! app good for

Alright so I know absolutely nothing about wrestling. I bought this game on a whim and I slowly but surely fell in love. It was a bit confusing at first but once I got a little more understanding for the terminology I had a lot of fun. Its well-written, interesting, and I actually felt like I had a connection with all the different characters. That said though it was a bit slow at times, but the action kept it from dragging out too long. I laughed out loud a few times so that was great. I have replayed this game three times so far and still cant bring myself to turn heel or romance a different character. Im in too deep. Overall its solid and earns 5 stars from me personally. I now kind of want to get into wrestling.
I had a lot of fun playing this game, Im a big wrestling fan and I was so excited when I found this game, written and crafted very well!
Easily the best game I have played YET played from Choice of Games. Maybe the first text based game in which it filled me with excitement. Keep them going.
Beautifully long, fun and interactive with a wonderful variety of important choices; SLAMMED! is probably the best CoG game there is, and well worth the price.
I absolutely love this game! It is so worth the money! Because this game has everything.. dramatic, romantic and action and if you love Wrestling even better. ;)
Best "Choice of Games"-Game so far!! I love it, worth every Cent!

Some bad moments

It was fun and easy to get into but theres a bug only on the app. Right after getting into the car wreck during the flashback, if you didnt drink you can go along with JJs plan, but when you fight him, either choice you pick glitches the game and you cant proceed past that, same thing happens if you call the ambulance. Fix it, then 5 stars
Wow, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this one! I was iffy about it since I dont really like wrestling or know anything about it, and Im sure a lot of you are iffy about it being a wrestling one, but dont let it turn you away. This story is lengthy, amazing quality, really it griped me and held my attention for the 6+ hours I just sat and played and excited to replay! Truly well written with amazing twists, griping story, and over all fun even for someone who doesnt know a thing nor care for wrestling. Though there are a few minor flaws like most COGs off the bat. A few minor typos here or there, nothing major. A few possible bugs with gender flips of Love interest. (I tried a female play through and E. sometimes changed from male to female for a sentence or two...Also found it a little odd there was only 1 male love interest for a straight female play-through have yet to play the others yet, so no judgment yet.) Though those minor things are my only complaints; the story is solid, griping, and explains where if you dont know wrestling you understand and are excited about it. Nice length. Choices interesting in all it is a surprisingly good story! I recommend it
The decision trees are sometimes not accurate; I get responses that are in line with choices that are different than the one that I picked, but other than these typos, the story is very well done, and I feel like the choices are put in the right places.
Excellently written, as I would expect from CoG, but I dont know. It might just be me but I dont find professional wrestling to really be a good text, choice-based game topic. Things like superheroes, vampires, space exploration and tomb raiding are much more interesting topics to make a game about than wrestling. Still entertaining though.
I had my doubts since I know nothing about pro wrestling, but Im glad I bought this game. The writing is entertaining and written so that a anyone can enjoy it. Its easy to identify with the player character and the choices are inclusive and intuitive. This ones also got quite a few variations as far as branching paths to take through the game, several endings, and it isnt overly difficult. Even if youre not big on wrestling (I certainly never have been), this is a storyline you can spend several hours engrossed in.
Great game the story was long and well told. If it was somehow possible the only thing better might be a sequal.
